1. Who we are

This website is operated by the NihonSiki Karate and Sports Federation India (“NKSF”, “we”, “us”). Our head office is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

2. Information we collect

Account information — name, email, and password (hashed with bcrypt) when you register.
Form submissions — contact, trial enquiry, camp registration, and newsletter data.
Order and payment data — order amount, status, and the UPI transaction reference you submit. We never collect or store card, bank, or UPI PIN details.
Usage data — basic server logs, and anonymised analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data only to:

Respond to your enquiries and process your orders.
Provide you with the services you request (trial enquiries, contact responses, book purchases, and book downloads).
Send important administrative messages (e.g. password resets, order confirmations).
Send the newsletter only if you have explicitly opted in.

4. Payment processing

Payments are made directly to our UPI account by scanning a QR code — no payment gateway is involved, and we never collect or store card, bank, or UPI PIN details. You submit your UPI transaction reference after paying, and we manually verify it against our bank statement before unlocking the digital book.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to process book orders; these are always on. If you click “Accept all” in the cookie banner we also use Google Analytics cookies, with IP anonymisation, to understand which pages are useful. Choosing “Essential only” keeps analytics off. We do not use advertising cookies. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

6. Your rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing nksf.india.hq@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds). API routes are validated with Zod. Payments are verified manually by an administrator before access is granted. Access to the admin area is restricted to users with the ADMIN role.
